  Hello Fellow Members!
Our blogging workshop was a success, it seems, as several members have already started their own blogs in time for the awesome A-Z Blogfest (created by our speaker Arlee Bird http://tossingitout.blogspot.com/).
Let me give a shout out to the following attendees and their new blogs:

And to the following members and their not so new blogs:
Nutschell Windsor (me!)  http://www.thewritingnut.com/

These are the only ones I know of based on Saturday's  workshop, so If I missed out on any of your blogs, especially those who attended, please do email me.
I plan to create a list of CBWLA bloggers, so we can each support and follow each others blogs.
I also plan to create a list for those who are on Twitter, to do the same.
So do email me your blog names and Twitter handles!

Here are some BLOG TIPS which you can use:
1. Join blog fests like the A-Z to increase your blogging network.
2. Once you join blog fests, you'll see links to other blogs out there. Visit these blogs and  leave meaningful comments on their posts. Blogging etiquette requires them to return the favor, so you'll see comments trickle into your blog.
3.  Content is King wherever you look, so  Write meaningful, informative, or entertaining posts and you're bound to get followers.
4. If you're on Blogger/Blogspot make sure to turn your word verification function OFF, to make it easier for folks to leave comment.
5. Have Fun! Blogging is a great way to build your author platform, network, meet online bloggy buddies and practice writing--but it doesn't have to be a chore. Find a theme for your blog that you love to talk about. If you love reading, do book reviews. If you love writing, write about writing. But don't do the same thing over and over again. You can mix it up, as long as you stay within a general theme. If your blog's theme is writing for example, you can blog about writing tips, your journey as an aspiring author, the writing events you attend or the books you read.

Hope these tips help. Again, don't forget to email me your BLOG NAMES and your TWITTER HANDLES!

happy blogging!
Nutschell
