Pig Roast for Cape 912 Members

Cape 912 is going to have another Pig Roast and Picnic
It will be at Camelot Park, #2 South, on Saturday, November 9thCome at 11 AM to chat with other folks.

There are Tennis Courts, A large playground and horse shoe pits right there.  Someone should bring horse shoes.
That being said, we will obviously not have a meeting, however, there will be a
SOAP BOX for you all to speak.  I tried to get Jaycee Park, but it was taken.

Our Friend Uwe Kordts will again pay for the pig ($250-$300), He gets all the pig he wants, and our friend Miguel Fernandez will Roast the pig Cuban style.  I will be
asking for donations to provide Miguel for his time and effort.  He will
select the pig, marinate it overnight and then roast it in his Cuban pig
roasting box on Saturday the 9th.

I ask you do 2 things.  First  RSVP (Tell me who is coming at [masked] ) This is mostly for your
family and maybe a visitor if you have 1 or 2
.  This will tell us
how much food each should bring.  I will let everyone know the total
number of RSVP’s.

Second tell me what you want to bring for everyone else to share.  You will need to bring enough for everyone.  I will be letting everyone know how many people to prepare for.  As of 11/1/13 we have:

100 LB Pig - Uwe Kordts

Uwe’s fries

Vegetables and dip

Plates, silverware and Napkins

Pasta Salad

Tossed Salad

4 Bean Salad

Corn and Peppers

Meat Balls

Pineapple Casserole

Potato Salad

Relish Tray

Rolls and Butter

Chafing Dishes to keep food warm - Cape 912

OK folks we will be needing all sorts of other food that goes with
a Roast Pig and Picnic.

RSVP me at [masked] no later than Saturday, November 2nd, but as always, sooner is better so that we can plan better.

Remember if you do not RSVP we will not know that you are coming and there will NOT be enough food for everyone.
