In what city do you live?

Bay Point

Tell us a little about yourself and what got you interested in learning to be prepared for possible emergencies.

i have been prepping again for about a year, last time i got serious was back in the late 90's when i lived in Sacramento and i still have items i got back then as well. this change of times has really opened my eyes and so does the fact i live in earth quake country. my family isnt quite on the same page as i am so i'm pretty much alone in trying to prepare for all of us in case an emergency or disater should happen.

How prepared are you and your family to live comfortably in a down turned economy with limited resources; supply chain disruptions; monetary hyper inflation/dollar collapse; fragile power grid; social unrest/absence of law enforcement; other? (1-5)

not prepared enough in my opinion. but i have been collecting information and how to store water, canning, solar and wind power, and because of where our home is i don't think bugging in will work for long its a rough neighborhood but it was very different here back when my grandparents owned this home than it is these days... so searching and pricing a piece of land for a possible bug out location just in case.....also still wanting to research ID plants if needed to live off the land as well.

Rank the following areas of instruction, training, discussion in priority for you no need to include all. Food/water storage, home defense/security, homesteading, bugging out/in, wilderness survival, orienteering, plant ID, living off the land, alte

water or how to treat and procure it was my first reasearch project, then fire, shelter building and procuring food and bug out and inch bags. i learn from the internet, books and you tube but would like traing in other areas and to meet like minded people to learn with and share with currently working on defense and learning solar and wind alt. power and canning.

What preparedness/survival skills do you have, with which you are comfortable enough leading discussions and instructing others. Could be skills like sewing, welding/fabricating/machining, canning, first aid, firearms trainer etc.

not sure if know enough to lead a discussion but temporary shelter building, and fire in different weather conditons i can sew by hand and know some basic first aid.

hello, i have been prepping for about a year now and would like to meet like minded people in and around my area.
