Help Keep CCA Going!

  • June 2 · 3:00 PM

There are no dues to belong to Corpus Christi Atheists which is a purposeful decision to keep as few barriers as possible for local Atheists to participate in our community.  Many of you have expressed interest in assisting with the costs of running this group (e.g., Meetup costs $140/year, we run occasional Facebook ad drives to promote awareness of our group ($60+ this past year), etc.)  For those who are willing and able this is an easy way for you to contribute to the continued existence and growth of CCA and I deeply appreciate your assistance.  I know many of our members are simply unable to assist and that is completely fine - I hope you will continue to support us through your participation both online and in person!

RSVPing to this meetup will give you the opportunity to donate via credit or debit card - if you would like to donate by cash or check you can hand deliver your donation at a meetup.  Any donations in excess of our annual costs will go back to the group in the form of ads or, being excessively optimistic, perhaps a run of new t-shirts, etc.    The Meetup will only allow you to donate in amounts of $10 - if you would like to donate more than $10 simply add a +1 to your RSVP for each additional $10.  All donations will be entered and tracked online for transparency: http://www.meetup.com/Corpus-Christi-Atheists/money/

Here's to another great heatheny year!

What is the location of the june 2 keep CCA going meeting? Do i have to pay the $10 online, or can i pay at the door? Thanks and best regards.

HI, Youssef - this meeting isn't actually a meeting. Every six months we ask for people to donate to CCA if they can to help defray our costs. There are no dues to belong to CCA or to come to any of our events - our next meeting is Sunday at 5:30pm at Executive Surf Club downtown! Hope to see you soon.

I really appreciate the people helping to run this group. I'm sure it takes a lot of time. The transparency is great too. Thank you all.

Thank you! A lot of people work really hard to make this thing work so well and it takes a lot of time, effort and money and usually very little thanks. So let me add my own gratitude: thank you to everyone who has donated time, expertise, muscle or money to keep CCA growing. We have come a LONG way!
