Are you following Joel Fuhrman's Eat to Live diet style and don't have anyone to share your ideas with? Or have you read Eat to Live but feel daunted by the recipes and don't know how to get started? Come gather with like-minded people and we'll cook, discuss tips and techniques, give each other motivation and inspiration and maybe have a few potlucks. Maybe some of us will want to join forces in buddy system-type emotional support to end overeating and junk food addictions.
This diet style is primarily vegan, but mainly focused on foods that give you the most micronutrients per calorie. Processed oils are rarely used and your fats instead come from nuts, seeds and avocado. Whole grains are used, but minimally because they are not as nutrient dense. A major carbohydrate source is beans. We try to get greens, beans, onions, mushrooms berries and seeds in our diet every day.
