Tuesday Night Social Paddle

  • Jun 24, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Paddle's up come out and practice your paddling skills Tuesday nights!

First-time cruisers, please read on before hitting that magical RSVP button & inviting SUP sunsets into your destiny:

A great trip for "qualified" beginners (i.e. our SUP 101 class or equivalent) or intermediate and advanced paddlers

We'll launch at 6:30 pm and spend approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes on the water at a relaxed pace. This is the perfect paddle for those looking to get more time and experience on the water and those looking for a social paddle.

Please arrive  10 to-15 minutes before launch to sign waivers and prepare for launch.

You must have previous stand up paddling experience!  This is not a class.

Cost is $20 per person for an entry level board or $30 for a light weight Carbon, Touring or Race board. Upgrade to a light weight carbon paddle for $5. Cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Includes board, paddle, PFD, leash & wetsuit (not mandatory).

Bring a white light. We will be paddling after sunset, and Coast Guard requires we carry them. Please bring your own or be ready to purchase one at CCK.

No light = No paddle!

RSVP'd but can't make it?  No worries!  However, please update your RSVP to "not attending" so that we're not expecting you.

Bringing your own gear?  Excellent!  Simply mention it in the comment field and be ready to launch with us.  Thanks everyone :).

Here is a link to parking info:

CCK can validate your parking.

Gear: The weather in the bay area changes so layers in synthetic material seems to work best. Also, it can be windy so a good windbreaker is handy.

Having the right gear is essential to having a good time. If you have any questions on what to bring, please ask ahead of time so we can help you have the right stuff to enjoy the paddle. We are happy to help!

Darn, I thought I'd be able to go, but had to take Hitch in for some surgery today and I don't want to leave him alone. Hopefully I can get out with you all again very soon!
