At this monthly workshop, actors and writers will provide cold readings of screenplays and stage plays, and the group will offer critique. Producers and directors are encouraged to attend.  We will also discuss topics that can help any writer improve upon their talent, such as books, writing software and techniques.

About the Venue: Carolina Talent provides a great atmosphere for the workshop.  Parking is free.  There's plenty of room and seating for writers, actors, producers, directors and film enthusiasts.

In order to enter the building press the number "3" three times on the call box.  The name "Carolina Talent" will appear.  Press the # sign to call the number.  You will here some rings and the door will be unlocked from the office.

Need Brother Thaddeus, Brother Dominic, Emma/Dulcinea, Sandman, Executioner, Inquisitor/Clockman, Don Quixote/Cervantes, Flamenco Dancer (no lines; just dance), Three Nuns, Three Wisemen, and Earl, The Camel Salesman. See you in "Sweet Dreams."

I have an unfinished script I need feedback on. Do I bring one copy or copies for each role? How does this work?

Yes, once you have your time slot, you would need scripts for all roles and for Josh.

Do the workshops cater to child actors?

    April 24, 2013

    • Joshua T.

Sometimes there are parts for children and they are more than welcome to come. But we also read R rated scripts sometimes. I try to get that info to the group before each meetup.
