This is great for newcomers to Orlando... it will help them learn about downtown area...
Group will Meetup at the Lynx Bus Terminal... parking is nearby... but you may have to pay a meter...
Sir Richard is the guide on this one and when the date and time is set, call him when you RSVP....

Then you and your friends will ride the Lymmo bus system that covers from Lynx to County Court House... down to the foot of Orange Ave at City Hall... get off at various places and get some shots... AND IT'S FREE...

We will follow Richard's lead... he is a very talented man and we can learn a lot from him...

ETL..

Don't understand it... it still is a good idea and we will plan another one... and one I can go on... and it will happen if it is just you and me, Richard... thanks for trying...

I will not be able to make the early shoot downtown, due to a writing class that ends about 11:30. Where is everyone meeting up for lunch? and will there be more photo opps after that? Andrea

Sounds great, but I will be out of town.

Time element open-ended, as far as quitting is concerned. We can meet for lunch, after the morning thing, but that too, optionable. Buses are wheel chair accessible, of course. You can also bring a bike.

Will there be lots of walking and jumping on and off the busses etc? I have RSD and want to be sure it won't be too much! Thanks

Your activity level will be completely in your control. You could decide to stay and shoot from the bus, or get off at a good spot and just shoot from there.

I don't want to drive all the way to Orlando for street photos although this is a GREAT activity and I've done it many times in old Eau Gallie on the river and in Cocoa Village. I'm going to old Melbourne this Thursday with a group to do the same thing! Have fun!

I know this is going to be a great outing and a learning experience for many... Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend.. I look forward to many super images from the group..

We will meet inside the terminal, where we can sit and chat to determine basics and acknowledge virtual existences. I'll have a list of interest points. Lynx has this "rule" about no photographs on their grounds, which I have broken many times. Also, once by a cop who claimed "Photography in bus terminals is prohibited by the Patriot Act." False: Patriot Act does NOT EVEN MENTION photography, as you cannot destroy infrastructure with a picture (although it might help in planning!). You will see the potential for people as subjects, right there in the terminal. My mind trembles already. More to come, later (when else would "more" come?).

    Hey guys...

This is not an exercise in Architectural/Urban photography... but, in looking at some everyday things and finding the "Art" in them... If you want to "Study Up", then go to the album for Artsy stuff and look at some of Richard's work... and most of it was done either riding the bus or walking around town...

We will probably be in smaller groups and not one big one so, we will have a pre-arranged time and place to meet for lunch... then, if anyone wants to continue on the journey... they can... Or, if someone wants to just join in for an afternoon session... This will be an exciting and creative experience and there is no limit as to the number of members who can participate... so, if you haven't RSVP'd "Yes" to a meetup yet... try to make this one...

    Enjoy the light...
