Secular Family Network: Earth Day Cleanup

To stay up-to-date with Secular Family Network events join our group on

Secular Family Network is a group for parents who would like to explore how to raise children outside of religious institutions. Children have the opportunity to get acquainted, play, and socialize.

This month's event An Earth Day Cleanup at the Anacostia River

Wear long pants and close-toed shoes.  No sandals.  Pack plenty of water and sunscreen. You may want to wear gloves that can get wet.  This location has a restroom.

Participants will be required to sign a waiver.  A volunteer from the Anacostia Watershed Society will be there to answer questions and supply trash bags.

Look for group leader Michele Tucker. She has long dark hair and will be wearing a CFI pin and drives a blue and white MINI Cooper. Her email is mitucker[at]verizon[dot]net.

More information on the event can be found at the Anacostia Watershed Society's page under 'Earth Day events'.
