Here is a pretty good article on the "Higher Power" issue, being an atheistic, and getting sober. William Cope Moyers is a friend and the son of Bill Moyers who is a Baptist Minister and until recently a fixture on Public Broadcasting.

Well, in an attempt to redeem myself for my last YouTube movie link which nobody seemed to appreciate, here's Tim Minchin's animated movie "Storm." I found it to be poetic, clever, and entertaining. YMMV

I should add that there is a not-insignificant amount of swearing in that video in case that offends anyone.

I'd never heard of him before, but yes, we think quite a bit of his work is funny. I was looking at his website, and he'll be in Portland on June 23rd for a single show at the Aladdin Theatre. So, we bought tickets.

If anybody else wants to go, we'd be happy to provide transportation. Our car can fit 2 more. It's a general admission show, so we'd want to get there about 1 hour early.

Total cost for 2 tickets was $68.40.

Not to worry, Lee, we're atheists, so we lack any sense of morality or decorum.
