How did you find our site and have you previously heard about The Center for Inquiry?

I have subscribed to Free Inquiry for several years. I have just finished reading Non-Believer Nation by David Niose, which prompted me to seek out a group to affiliate with. (Found you via Google)

What topics or social issues are of interest to you?

Money in politics, the environment (especially fracking and clean water), separation of church and state, corporations as "people"

Do you use any of these terms ( rationalist, freethinker, spiritual, skeptic, atheist, agnostic, traditional believer, humanist) to describe yourself? (Please add any "labels" you feel would apply)

I prefer non-believer, although my father always said to call myself agnostic when anyone asked my religion. Others would probably label me an atheist, but I dislike the term as it implies that "theism" is the norm -- and should be. I have also called myself secular humanist or just a humanist. I recently learned that my grandfather was a Free Thinker, so that term is of interest to me as well, although I don't know exactly how it differs from other labels.

I'm a life-long non-believer who resolved this year to "come out" as such. I think it's important that we non-believers become a known constituency.
