How did you find our site and have you previously heard about The Center for Inquiry?

I found this site through the University of Akron SSA that is promotoing the Dec 10 film maker dinner event.

What topics or social issues are of interest to you?

Religious training and thinking is damaging to otherwise clear, analytical, critical thinking skills. Freethought literally means: Free to THINK!

Do you use any of these terms ( rationalist, freethinker, spiritual, skeptic, atheist, agnostic, traditional believer, humanist) to describe yourself? (Please add any "labels" you feel would apply)

I use atheist, agnostic, freethinker, and/or humanist depending on who I am talking to and what the subject of conversation is. "Atheist" carries the largest negative connotation by far, so I am more reserved with using it.

I am anxious to get more involved with atheist activities, and promoting the movement.
