Link to article by Robert Koehler, a self-described "peace Journalist". He muses on the expropriation by the U. S. military and military contractors of religious terminology in the names of modern killing machines - like the "Hellfire" drone missile, and the new "Reaper" (as in "Grim") drone aircraft, connecting this to the increasingly militant brand of Christian fundamentalism practiced in the upper reaches of the U. S. military.

Thanks to the Columbus area website The Free Press for publishing this piece. They do good work regarding corporate and government malfeasance. Website: http://www.freepress....

This is nothing new. War is frequently made more palatable via euphemisms. They used to call ICBM's "peacekeepers."

Two years ago a scandal also broke out when it was discovered that bible references were being placed on bullets by a Michigan Company. God always seems to get himself mixed up in human warfare. He has a lot to answer for if you ask me.
