Hear Dave ‘Doc' Dockery discuss Further thoughts on the future of our species

Doc, who is president of the Tampa Bay Computer Society has agreed to share some of his perspectives on where and when we are going, and how we might get there. He will expand further on the themes developed in our Darwin Day presentation.
With his unique understanding of technology and the significant role it plays in our lives, he will address such topics as machine ‘consciousness' and our growing codependency on our own creations.

"Come join Doc as he explores the current
state of research into the workings of the human
brain. Brain research is advancing at an awesome
clip. We'll take a fascinating look at what's in
store for our future."

Monthly lecture or other useful meeting, followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Come and you won't be disappointed.

Please bring non-perishable food for Tampa Bay Harvest, our Tampa
Bay Coalition of Reason food program.

The Center for Inquiry values full participation at all of its events, including participation from individuals with disabilities. Requests for reasonable accommodation may be made by contacting Jim Peterson, Humanists Society of the Suncoast ( [masked] ) one week before the event.
