Dedicated to providing a friendly, free-thinking environment in which to discuss books that inspire rewarding conversation on subjects related to science and philosophy.
We read a diverse range of books, covering content that is strictly scientific, strictly philosophical, both scientific and philosophical, as well as topics concerning the philosophy of science and the science of philosophy.
Books slated for discussion are first selected from a list compiled by group members and are later determined through a group vote.
This is a free and open to the public event. However, we are able to host this and many other events of its kind due to memberships and donations given by people just like you.

CFI Canada's mission is to provide education and training to the public in the application of skeptical, secular, rational and humanistic inquiry through conferences, symposia, lectures, published works and the maintenance of a library.
