Cafe Skeptique: Evolution: Holes and Mythconceptions

CFI Ontario's Cafe Skeptique is a fun and fascinating discussion group that focuses on a range of topics within the realm of skepticism such as pseudo-science, alternative medicine, conspiracy theories, etc. It's open to the public and everyone is welcome to join in!

This month's topic: On Evolution: The Truthiness, The Holes in the Truth, and (Almost) Nothing But the Truth - Delving into Those Pesky Flaws, Factoids and Mythconceptions

Normally held every THIRD Saturday of the month at 5:00 p.m., at Free Times Cafe, 320 College St. just west of Spadina Ave. Exceptions will be posted clearly when they apply.

    Very good effort by Phil in preparing the questions! I think it helped the group stay focused on the topic. I was also impressed at the level of knowledge the members have about evolution. Another great learning experience for me.

    the meeting went well for the first part as Phil had put together a challenging, and entertaining questionnaire on the topic, that all completed. however this seemed to sap away a good portion of the meeting. i suggest a followUp meeting on the same subject to give a reasonable length of disscussion on such an important and frequently misunderstood topic.
