This group is for Gen-X/Gen-Y members of Central Florida Mensa. Our events will be posted here so we can manage RSVPs, guests, etc. There’s a large and active community of Mensans in Central Florida who are “Gen-X” (born Jan. 1, 1961–Dec. 31, 1981) or “Gen-Y” (born Jan. 1, 1976–Dec. 31, 1996). Join other Gen-X and Gen-Y Ms for food, conversation, and assorted other shenanigans. PLEASE NOTE: If your Meetup.com profile name is not the same name under which you are a member of Mensa, you will need to contact the CFM Membership Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org to provide your real name or Mensa member ID. For the security and privacy of our members, only current Mensans are eligible to join the group. About CFM: CFM is Mensa Group #327, Region #10. Our coverage area stretches from Daytona Beach to Lakeland, along the I-4 corridor. With more than 57,000 members, American Mensa is the largest national Mensa operating under the auspices of Mensa International, Ltd. There are currently more than 100,000 members worldwide, and an estimated 6 million Americans are eligible for Mensa membership. Members of American Mensa range in age from 2 to 102. They include engineers, homemakers, teachers, actors, athletes, students and CEOs, and they share only one trait — high intelligence. To qualify for Mensa, they scored in the top 2 percent of the general population on an accepted standardized intelligence test. This group is for current members of Mensa only.
