I plan to ride the 100 mile route.
Join us for the ride of your life at the 2012 Tour de Cure Orlando event in support of the American Diabetes Association! The ride will start and finish in the Lake Nona area. Your efforts will make a difference to the more nearly 24 million Americans who suffer from diabetes and over 57 million people with pre-diabetes.
Once again there will be 4 routes to choose from, 10, 25, 60 and 100 mile rides. Whether you’re an avid or novice cyclist, there's a distance for you. You can start your day off with bagels, fruit, juice and coffee for breakfast. A team of volunteers will assist you with medical and mechanical needs throughout the day. Rest Stops complete with bathrooms, food, fruit, power bars, water and much more will be available along the routes.

More about the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure
ADA aims to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. You can make a difference in the lives of more than 23.6 million Americans with diabetes by joining thousands of cyclists around the nation who are riding in Tour de Cure.
Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held in 43 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.
Whether you decide to form a corporate team, rally your friends and family together or challenge yourself as an individual rider, you can expect a lively day of cycling, camaraderie, support and information. Not only will you enjoy the benefits of being active, you will be directly supporting the advocacy, information and education initiatives of the ADA with your personal fundraising campaign. See the FAQ page to learn more about fundraising both online and offline for Tour de Cure.
As an extra thank you for your efforts, all registered participants who raise the minimum fundraising amount for their event will receive a commemorative 2012 Tour de Cure T-shirt. Reach higher fund raising levels and you'll earn your choice of thank you gifts—name brand cycling gear, popular electronic items and more in addition to our one-of-a-kind Tour de Cure jerseys and cycling jackets.
Recruit your family and friends for the minimum $150 fundraising support. Put it on Facebook - that's how I raised a lot of my support for last year's Tour de Cure
