If your dog knows sit, down, stay, come, watch me and has performed these commands around other dogs before, this is the class for you! (Lots of dogs that know basic commands cannot do them in a class environment easily and should start in a basic obedience class if that is the case.) Please read meetup description before RSVPing. This intermediate obedience course is six weeks in length. If you are interested in attending after the series has already started, please send me an email at [masked] and we will manually add you depending on class space!
Dogs love obedience classes! We all know that basic obedience training makes dogs pleasant to be around, but there are other benefits too! Obedience training using positive reinforcement techniques can strengthen your bond with your dog and also provides a mental challenge, something that many of our pets need just as much as physical exercise to combat boredom and give them a purposeful life! The benefits do not stop there! A good recall or a solid stay could even save your dog's life one day.
