Wellbrook Winery, Delta:
Wellbrook Winery offers a unique selection of premium fruit and berry wines that celebrate the heritage of Delta’s local farming community. The focal point of this 55-acre heritage farm is The Old Grainery Store, lovingly restored by owner Terry Bremner. Surrounded by century-old beams and antique furnishings and fixtures, guests are invited to sample from a unique selection of table and dessert wines. Or simply feel free to browse the shop for wine accessories and giftware while enjoying the historic atmosphere.
Their signature Blueberry and Cranberry wines are made exclusively with fruit from their farms in Delta and Fort Langley. Their Blueberry table wine and Fortified Blueberry dessert wine is made exclusively with blueberries from the Bremner family farm in Delta. Wellbrook’s Cranberry table wine and Fortified Cranberry dessert wine contains a blend of local cranberries and those from Bremner farms. All other fruit used in their wines – strawberries, peaches, apples and apricots – are B.C. grown. www.wellbrookwinery.com
River’s Bend Winery, Surrey:
Open in the spring of 2005, River’s Bend is a family owned and operated boutique winery located on 30 acres of pastoral farmland alongside the winding banks of the Serpentine River in South Surrey. Planted in a gem of a microclimate, the winery’s 15 acre yields many grape varieties. The grapes are grown using natural farming methods, the wines gently handcrafted and bottled at their peak to preserve their delicate aroma and flavour. Surrey’s only winery offers a friendly atmosphere, gorgeous views, a tasting room and gift shop. www.riversbendwinery.com

Township 7 Vineyards & Winery, Langley:
The vines at Township 7 were planted in the spring of 2000 and the winery opened for business in July of 2001. In the fall of 2003, a second vineyard property was purchased on the Naramata Bench. Two acres of grape vines were planted on the seven acre property in the spring of 2004, and additional vines planted in 2005. The combined production facility and tasting room was completed and opened in the summer of 2004, and offers visitors the opportunity to see the workings of the winery first hand.

The Langley wine shop is housed in the beautiful south Langley countryside in a quaint building reminiscent, on the outside, of the many riding stables in the neighbourhood. Aside from the vineyards in Langley and on the Naramata Bench, grapes for the wines are grown in the Oliver area of British Columbia, a world-renowned location for growing grapes for the more full-bodied Merlots, Cabernet Sauvignons, Syrahs and Chardonnays that Township 7 produces. Township 7 was purchased from founders Corey and Gwen Coleman on June 1, 2006. Township 7 Vineyards and Winery’s offerings include Un-Oaked Chardonnay, a barrel aged Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, a method traditionelle sparkling wine made from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, and a late harvest dessert wine. Township 7 focuses on the production of small lots of high quality wines made from carefully chosen grapes from the Okanagan Valley and from vineyards in Langley and Penticton. This family owned and operated winery is committed to creating exceptional wines that are complex, flavourful and well balanced. www.township7.com

Domaine De Chaberton Estate Winery, Langley:
Domaine de Chaberton Estate Winery is located on 55 acres amongst the rolling hills of south Langley, British Columbia just 45 minutes from Vancouver, B.C. They are the largest and oldest winery in the Fraser Valley. In 1975, Claude and Inge Violet, having sold their winery and vineyard in France decided to start afresh in the New World. The pioneer spirit was not new to the Violet blood line as Claude’s family had been in the wine business since 1644. After visiting California, Ontario and the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Claude and Inge purchased the land where the present site of the Domaine de Chaberton and the Bacchus Bistro are located.

Their wines have won numerous awards in wine competitions held throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. Chaberton’s 2003 Canoe Cove Shiraz was chosen by a select panel as one of only 11 B.C. wines to receive the Lieutenant Governor General's 2006 Award of Excellence in British Columbia wines. The 2004 Canoe Cove Chardonnay recently won a Double Gold at the 2006 All Canadian Wine Competition held in Ontario. www.domainedechaberton.com

Blackwood Lane Vineyards & Winery, Langley:
Blackwood Lane Vineyards & Winery is the creation of Carlos Lee and Winemaker Charles Herrold. Their goal was simple, to produce wines that lived up to their high standards and expectations. Their philosophy is summarized in the Company’s motto: “Bonus Vita et Bonus Amici” (Good Life and Good Friends). As wine lovers, they realized that people in the Greater Vancouver area had to travel to the Okanagan Valley in order to acquire great wine, so they decided to bring the wine to them.

Accordingly, they set up the winery in the heart of the Fraser Valley wine corridor, only minutes from Vancouver. It is on 12.2 acres of the most beautiful land in the area, with south facing slopes. Great wines require great grapes and therefore they secured the best grapes of the Okanagan Valley (Wine Spectator October 2002). This, combined with 19 years of winemaking experience with uncompromised quality, create wines that they are proud to share with friends and fellow wine lovers. www.blackwoodlanewinery.com
