The meeting was well-organized, the venue was very nice and the people were friendly. The projector and audio equipment worked great and I was able to see and hear the movie clearly.

I'd definitely go see another movie at this location if one were scheduled.

The low rating is ONLY for the movie as I don't really know anything else about the group.

"Thrive" was incoherent and loosely associated at best, filled with pseudoscience and fleeting, unconnected references. It was deceitful and manipulative at worst.

Gamble's enemies and mission are ill-defined. Are we all supposed to start making tori? And do what with them, exactly? Or are we to don our akido outfits and kick some ass?

The movie is sadly laughableo at times could be viewed as just another mostly harmless, losely formulated conspiracy theory. However the dissemination of misinformation IS harmful. There were some points in this movie that, if taken seriously, ARE dangerous. If I came away with any sense of mission from this movie, it is that we need to start figting back against this nonsense.

Are there others like me, who wondered how in the hell they wound up viewing THAT sort of movie?

Thank you for sharing, Sharon. When you rate the event you rate the event organizers (something we can improve next time) and not the film (which people may have different opinions about). We don't endorse the ideas in the films but offer people an opportunity to get together and see something that they normally don't see on TV. Basically to push away people from watching TVs and offer them a food for a thought and possible discussion with others. If you have any suggestion for our future films please suggest it here: http://www.cidfilms.c... Thank you again for sharing your perceptions of the film and inviting to talk about it!

I had a similar reaction to Sharon. I woke up the next morning thinking that it had to be some kind of parody that did not work.
