Hi Irv. I am wondering is there are any drums to borrow at the drum circle tonight? otherwise I will see if a friend can lend me hers.

I watched some drum circles on youtube and think it might be something I should try. I've been looking at Djembe drums and not quite sure what size to get. Should it sit on the floor - 24 inch or would the smaller ones placed on your chair work. It seems that the Djembe are the most used for drum circles but what do I know. I cannot attend this weeks but maybe the following one.

Erv - I had a great time on Saturday and hope to visit again on Dec 1. I wonder, did anyone happen to find a white tubular scarf? I lost it; it's old; almost looks like a dust rag but has sentimental value.

I just received my very first Djembe drum (Praying Hands is carved in front of it) from Mother Drums and am looking forward to taking it home on the train tonight -- it is slightly larger than I expected. I will also be bringing a co-worker to the drumming on Nov 3.
