October Meetup: Face-to-Face with CIO

This will be our October meetup: Face-to-face with CIO series.

With much ado about Software-as-a-Service delivery model, it is but another step in adaptation of human tools to the changing business habitats. As we structure our business ideas and practices around our ever-changing environment, we need to continually evolve our 21st century instruments to adapt them to our new behaviors. Let’s talk about the world beyond SaaS: as the Internet cloud expands, how do our expectations change and what are the next steps in evolution of software? How do we give the customer more control? Keeping in mind that “it is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change” (Charles Darwin) we will discuss building software that is adaptable to its environment.
