I have never been to Oleg's before but someone in the group had told me about it and said it was great. I happened to drive by it last night and thought let's give it a try. The location is outside the 275 loop on Montgomery Rd. So if you were coming from 275, you would head north on Montgomery Rd a few miles, it's past Mason Rd but before Union Cemetery Rd, it's on the left hand side. I realize this is a ways out, when I called to make reservations, Oleg is leaving the country from July 5th to August 12th. I had hoped to set this up in July, so anyway we'll have this dinner set up for August.

Here's what 1 reviewer from Urban Spoon said below. (I'm hoping Annette, one of our members from Germany, will be able to join us and see if she agrees.)
"Authentic German recipes, German beer, really good! Being from a German family the wonderful smells, tastes & atmosphere brought back wonderful memories! German potato salad made the CORRECT way! My 6 & 8 year old want to go back & back. It's German food, not fake German food."
Below is information from their website.
