Project Night (Building a CNC Router)

The CNC Club is a weekly meeting of Chicago area people passionate about learning, building and using digital fabrication equipment.  It is held at the Pumping Station One Hackerspace.  It is open to non members.  We also have a Google Group called CNC Build Club.

Each week we talk about, build, train on and use CNC machines.  We have 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers and vinyl cutters.  Come out and join the fun.

This week we will be doing a group bench build a large CNC router.  We will be wiring all the parts together and firing them up for the first time.  We hope to go from a pile of parts and wires to full CNC control in one evening.  If you ever wanted to know the complete process of getting this done stop on by.  If you have your own project, please bring it.  We can offer hands and advise.

Please RSVP, but don't be concerned about the low RSVP count.  Unfortunately most people don't respond, but we usually get between 10 and 30 people per week.
