Our Skill Levels
In order to match players of similar skill levels and maximize everyone's volleyball experience, here is a list of skill level descriptions. This corresponds to how our meetup events will be organized and posted.

Beginner
• This player has had little to no on-court experience
• Player is learning the basic individual skills/fundamentals of the game.
• Requires instruction on all facets of the game.
• Player has difficulties judging where ball is going.
• Player has difficulties controlling/keeping the ball in play.
• Slowest game pace.
• 90% of all points end with an unforced error.

Recreational
• This player has played some organized volleyball (i.e., local leagues, intramurals, etc) and has some on-court experience.
• Player possesses basic individual skills/fundamentals of the game but lacks consistency.
• Requires instruction on setting, spiking, blocking, team concepts and rules
• Familiar with basic rules and violations, almost all illegal contacts are not called
• Player is learning to judge where the ball is going although court coverage is limited.
• Slow game pace. Player can sustain rallies with other players of the same ability level.
• 75% of all points end with an unforced error. Typically blocking is not required.

Intermediate
• This player has played organized volleyball (i.e., local leagues, intramurals, etc) for 3+ years and has on-court experience.
• Player possesses basic individual skills/fundamentals of the game.
• Player is getting familiar with positions and basic team concepts.
• May require instruction on setting, spiking, blocking and team concepts.
• Familiar with basic rules and violations, gross illegal contacts will be called
• Player's court coverage is average.
• Normal game pace. Serving is more aggressive. Player can sustain rallies with other players of the same ability level.
• Less than 40% of all points end with an unforced error. Blocking may be required.
• USA Volleyball/GEVA/VBLI player level of CC

Advanced
• This player has played competitive volleyball (i.e., such as high-school/college, GEVA, VBLI, or GAV) for 5+ years and has extensive on-court experience.
• Player has acquired individual skills/fundamentals of the game.
• Player is familiar with team concepts (i.e, defensive positioning, blocking, 5-1 and 6-2 systems, specialization).
• Familiar with USAV rules and violations, all illegal contacts will be called
• Fast game pace. Less than 20% of all points end with an unforced error (i.e., point is earned by a forced error / block). Blocking is required.
• USA Volleyball/GEVA/VBLI player level of B (indoor)

RSVP Instructions
RSVP for an event that is your appropriate level. Pre-pay with to guarantee yourself a spot. If you pre-pay the day of a game, print a copy of your receipt and bring it with you. Dress appropriately.

Refund Policy
Cancel up to 24+ before event = Full amount paid refunded less $0.30
Cancel up to 4 to 24 hours before event = Half of amount paid refunded less $0.30
Cancel less than 4 hours before event = No refund
