<p>People in this group like hiking and nature walks, and want to learn to identify the native plants of California. We enjoy these plants in every season, from floriferous spring to dormant summer to cool fall to lush winters. We learn about the habitat value of plants, as well as ethnobotanical value as food, medicine, and raw material for twine, baskets, boats, and shelter.</p>
