I've been learning primitive skills in the Ithaca area, and enjoy the company of people with the same interest. I'm a primitive pyromaniac, so I'm always looking for new things to burn. I also like finding wild food, and want to learn more edibles.
Jim I was thinking maybe having some meetings on sundays may be helpful I work a lot of sat. and that's kept me from attending in the past, we are looking forward to more meetups , my 7yr old Erika wants to learn the hand drill and honestly I`m not good enough to teach her
Hi Jim, umm not really sure I know we really enjoyed the edibles walk and the skills share weekend but with the weather I`m not really sure what we could do, maybe a wild medicinal walk or something in the spring we plan on bringing some friends to some of the meets when we can. if I think of something I`ll let you know
Jim, Peter and I were so thrilled to discover how quick and easy it can be to start a fire, without Matches!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us. And I continue to work on my cord, and have been on the watch for more dogbane!! Thanks again so much!! Patricia aka "P"
Welcome Jim. It’s great to have you in the group. We will have to do a friction fire meetup soon so you can spread the gospel! Also, thanks for grabbing all my junk after the bow workshop. I’ll have to catch up with ya some time to get it. Feel free to start a discussion, ask questions, or suggest a meetup. See ya soon.
