On Tuesday, SEPT 1ST we will have our first extended opportunity to hear from our new State Party Chairman, Chris Devaney.
For those of you who do not know Chris, he is a long time participant in the political arena, including being a leading staff member for Sen Fred Thompson and Sen Bob Corker.
I have asked Chris to tell us about where his focus will be as Party Chairman, about the efforts going on in the special election for the State House seat in the Shelbyville area and the critical impact of a Republican victory. What roles the State Party will play in races for State House, State Senate, Congressional seats and the GOV race of 2010 - and more...
all in an hour.... plus time for our noted Q&A session.
In short, it will be a full lunch!
As usual, our lunch will be held at The Law Offices of Waller/Lansden - 511 Union Street -27th floor. Lunch from Alexander's Catering is $20 for guests, $15 for members and will available at 11:30AM. Please plan to be there as close to that time as you can, for we expect another large crowd [ we had 136 last month for Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn - she was SPECTACULAR!]

One last note -- our NOV meeting be on MONDAY - Nov 2nd -- rather than on Tuesday the 3rd. Our guest will Congressman ZACH WAMP making his first visit as an official candidate for GOV of TN... please put a note on your calendar now and remind those you know.
