The mission of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) is to lead Colorado and its people to an energy efficient and renewable energy economy through education, policy advancement and economic development.
CRES is a statewide, nonpartisan nonprofit membership organization that works to increase awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. We serve as a leading resource in providing renewable energy information to the people of Colorado to support the sensible adoption of these technologies by Colorado businesses and consumers.
CRES hosts monthly speaker series in several locations throughout the state, with speakers covering a wide range of topics regarding renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. CRES also holds educational events such as seminars, workshops and conferences throughout the state.. CRES is a subchapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).
