TAX DAY TEA PARTY - Hauppauge (4:00 -7:30pm)

The Conservative Society for Action invites you to join us at the 2010 Tax Day Tea Party.

We will be there from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Come when you can for as long as you can. TELL EVERYONE!

The Tea Party Movement started over a year ago. We started a fire that has grown hotter and hotter. We are returning to the original location we held our first tea party rally.

Join us and celebrate the one year anniversary of the Conservative Society for Actions taking it to the streets!

Bring your signs!!
Bring your chairs!!
Bring your Flags!!!

Let your voice be heard!!

LET EVERYONE WHO PASSES KNOW TO "THROW THE BUMS OUT". Steve Israel & Tim Bishop must be defeated. Bring your "Dump Steve Israel" & "Dump Tim Bishop" signs. Let everyone know that these members of congress have betrayed us!

And please bring friends!!!!!

This event happens rain or shine. Please do your best to attend.

More details will follow on the event.

Thanks everyone for all the help in making this past year OUR year!

Sincerely,
Stephen Flanagan

My energy will be solely focused on getting my passive neighbors to get off their rear ends and join the demonstration. The printable flyers were a brilliant idea. I will be printing and stuffing mailboxes. Think of it as Paul Revere inspired.

We can not assume that lawsuits will overturn healthcare and other things passed by Congress.

FYI...It's illegal to stuff anything in mailboxes. Check with your post office. You can put flyers on the outside of the box or behind it or in the door handle but not in the box...Went thru this years ago with school board elections.

I want to say thank you to every single person who came to the Hauppauge Tea Party OR attended any other Tea Party on the 15th. This statement rings true to me every single day. "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win." The problem is the more they try to shut us down, the bigger we grow. We the People will prevail.

It was great to see so many Patriots!!!!!!!!!

The rally was great, everyone I met was upbeat and full of energy. I think we received a lot more support from the people in the passing cars giving thumbs up and blowing their horns. The whole event was very uplifting

With over 3000 dedicated Patriots, it could only be a great day. It was nice to see so many new faces and I hope they all stay involved. We have a lot of work to do. Great job everyone!

Fabulous day. Great to see so many NEW faces to the Tea Party movement.

I attended the Tea Party from 4:30 to 6PM and had a great time. It seemed like there were more than a 1000 patriots there! I stood with many on the edge of Veterans Highway with my homemade sign and we were able to get many drivers to blare their horn for us. I thought the Vietnam Vet who spoke and sang the National Anthem did a great job. I made sure to hang my sign on the passenger door of my pick-up as I drove out to salute the great folks who were still on the roadside doing a wonderful job. Also - just so MSNBC knows, there were many folks of color joining us in our protest as well as many younger folks. So, it is not just a older white crowd as is portrayed by the press. Newsday has nothing on their website about the local tea parties that took place but I am not surprised! Keep ignoring us - you won't be able to come November!

I was great to see such a great crowd, and no sign of infiltrators. Still a lot of sheep driving by, but a lot more supportive honks than usual.
  • Robert Todaro
It's almost like we're all best friends.
  • Rosalie
    REAL Americans Rock !!
  • Alden
It was like, I dunno, a surreal patriotic state fair. Let's keep up the momentum. I have just one question: are derelict politicians eligible for unemployment? Steve Israel and friends: hey heyyy hey, goodbyeee!
  • Robert J Hamm
Great turn out. Nice bunch of people. Good to see all the politicians attending. Obviouly we are a large well oganized political power. Let's use it in ovember.
  • Jon
Great group of people. Good music and fantastic speeches!
  • Ed
It was great to see so many people out to support the Tea Party.
  • Lauren
Great to see so many people and families with their kids, a lot more signs that last year and most of the car horns were honking in support!
  • john kelly
Best showing in # of folks to ever show up!!! Massive support from people driving by!!!
  • Suzanne Arink
Great day (except for mailing my tax return) beautiful weather. Hard to believe a year has passed and the whiplash of one dire issue after another hasn't done me in , yet. All efforts are now directed on delivering new faces to gov't from Suffolk to Washington. We all need a big dose of spinach and back to the fight to get our country back. Thanks to all who organized and attended.
  • Kathy O
Awesome gathering of patriots at a very well organized rally. Lots of support from passing motorists.
  • Barbara Re
I thought the tea party was a huge success. I attended last year on April 15th. There was a much larger crowd today. Seemed as though there were alot more young people...early 30's. helps me stay hopeful about the future of our country. People friendly, well mannered. Love all the signs. Some funny stuff! We can only hope and pray that our efforts will help to change the despicable crap that is going on today.
  • Ali Romano
The crowd was respectful and serious about the intent...I will come to another one.
  • A.M. Hesse
I thought it went very well. I find attending the protest help me to feel as though I am doing something...not just sitting and stewing. I had just one idea before election day could we maybe consider having all groups across LI... CSA, 912... and so on meet up for a large tea party? I think a very large gathering may have an impact but perhaps not if the media does not cover it. So maybe not such a good idea but it is a thought. Thank you for all your hard work.
