DOG PROTECTION Rally on the State Capitol Steps!

BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS OUTSIDE RALLY! The Senate will be considering "The Dog Protection Act" to train police officers in order to prevent future killing of non-threatening dogs. In the past 5 years, 30 dogs have been tragically killed. We're trying to have over 3000 dog lovers attend this rally. If you can't bring your dog, bring homemade signs with photos of your dogs.

You can attend the afternoon Judiciary Committee Hearing from 1:30 - 3:30 on Wed, April 3 in the Old Supreme Court Chambers (2nd floor inside State Capitol). But, no dogs will be allowed there.

If you bring your dog(s) to the rally, please take them home or make other arrangements for them, if you intend to attend the hearing at 1:30. The organizers want to avoid anyone putting their dog in a parked car for any period of time. Thank you!

For more info, contact Senator David Balmer (one of the bill's sponsors) at:[masked] or email him at: [masked]

Hi All, I was asked to send the message in quotes to attendees of this event. I included an edited version in the details so it will go out to members in the reminder. "Please be sure to advise the members that if they bring their dog to the rally they should take their dog home if they intend to attend the hearing at 1:30. We want to avoid anyone putting their dog in a parked car for any period of time. Thank you"
