Save the Dolphins- A Memorial Protest

Please Join us in front of the Denver Japanese Consulate at[masked]th Street in Downtown Denver, for a peaceful rally opposing the annual dolphin hunt in Taiji, Japan, as well as speaking against the marine mammal captivity industry.

Last year we had over 17,000 supporters on board with events in 117 cities across 6 continents.

Education is a big part of this event, informing the public of the relationship between the hunt and captive dolphins, and also the horrors these creatures endure whilst being in captivity.

We will be staging this event at 11:10am at Skyline Park @ 17th Street and Arapahoe. (one block east of Lawrence). Please attend the staging so we can assemble for a group photo and pass out assignments and posters

And...Please DO create a poster to express your thoughts on the matter of the Taiji dolphin slaughters and anti-captivity. but, please do not use the words" Hate Japanese" or "Boycott Japan" most Japanese citizens do not have any control over their government's actions, just like citizens here in the USA. However, please feel free to "Hate Sea World" and other marine mammal abusement parks. thanks! We will have leaflets to hand out to the public. Bring sunscreen, water and shade (umbrellas) as it will most likely be very hot.
