US H.R. 3359 Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act

[hope this works!]
In doing my digging/research into all things circus, I have found that there is currently a bill before the U.S. House titled Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act.  This bill is a proposed ammendment to the Animal Welfare Act to restrict the use of exotic and non-domesticated animals in traveling circuses and exhibitions.  Link:
Seems to have been assigned to a committee in Nov 2011, and not seen the light of day since.  The web implies the bill was co-sponsored by Boulder, CO rep Polis.
Thought I'd share with the PPART incase anyone had thoughts on how to support/re-energize it...
