Spiritual Living Cinema: What is New Thought?

How often do we share our personal journey of spiritual awakening and the joy of being in sacred community and experience our friends and family asking, "What is New Thought?" While the feeling tone of our experience is loving, profound and transformational, expressing the full scope of the New Thought movement from its early transcendentalist roots to its widespread presence today requires more than a short conversation. Simply put, New Thought is a philosophy that  embraces the Divine oneness of all of life, universal truths and thinking in a new way. This Truth empowers us to rediscover ourselves and nurture a personal relationship with the Divine and transform our lives.

I invite you to join us for this month's Spiritual Living Cinema's featured movie What is New Thought? The movie answers this question and gives a closer look at the history of the New Thought philosophy and how it has been instrumental in transforming the lives of millions of people. It features over 30 New Thought teachers and speakers who discuss topics such as prayer and healing, the different organizations within the New Thought moment and so much more.

I look forward to experiencing What is New Thought? with everyone. Remember to bring a notebook or journal to capture your thoughts and questions.

The What is New Though Movie answered this question is such a way that it inspired me to explore the lives of the transcendentalist and early New Thought pioneer beyond my current understanding. The New Thought family tree and links between 19th century philosophers and spiritual leaders and current New Thought leaders was very beneficial. I look forward to our next Spiritual Living Cinema feature - Spiritual Liberation.

Absolutely a wonderful movie! I really liked that it gave us an account of how New Thought was developed> Actually like a family tree>This movie gave me personally so many more avenues to discover whether it be from the 1800's and even earlier to the current growth of New thought. Very enlightening:) and so many ways for us all to expand our conciuosness
