Sunday Celebration - Meditation at 9:45, Service at 10 am

Reverend Abigail Schairer welcomes you to our newly formed Spiritual Center! Be a part of this community whose purpose is to touch hearts, transform lives and to create a world that works for everyone!

We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, poor as a church mouse, inked, pierced (or both), or yo no habla Ingles. We welcome you if you are skinny as a rail, could afford to lose a few pounds, are a babe-in-arms, over 60 but not grown up yet, 30-somethings who are techies, and  teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted, having problems, down in the dumps or if you don’t like “organized religion”. (We’ve been there, too.) You’re welcome here if you’re “just browsing,” just woke up, are a spiritual master, a doubting Thomas, or haven’t been to church since little Justin’s Baptism. You are welcome here if you blew all your money on lottery tickets, you work too hard, don’t work, can’t spell, never been a member of a church, are between a rock and a hard place, could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down your throat, are into personal transformation, want to be part of change in the world…and YOU!

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday or at any of our events. Welcome Home!

Namaste.

What is spirituality? What is religion?

Spirituality is the conscious practice of the awareness of God's presence in the present moment. Because we know that God is all there is, we know we live in a spiritual universe. We are one with the Divine, now and always.

Religion is simply the framework that supports a common spiritual notion. All religions purport to assist their followers in realizing their unity with one another and God. This is what Science of Mind teaches, that there are many paths to the one God, and we honor each individual's chosen path.

October is Office Supply Month. CSL Peninsula is in need of office supplies! Donations gratefully accepted: reams of white 3-hole copy paper, self adhesive name badges, fold-in-half 6' tables, $10, $25 or $50 gift certificates to Office Depot, Office Max, Staples or Costco, forever stamps, and large and small envelopes. Your donations will assist us in keeping down expenses. Bring your office supplies any Sunday in October. Thank you!
