We'll have live performance from several great acts including "The Wild" http://www.myspace.co... and "Contraverse" http://www.myspace.co...

The tour will also feature brief talks by local activists and Iraq War Veterans.

There will also be a movie viewing before the party starts - beginning at about 6pm.

    • “ It was a great event. I wish more people were there. The energy of the bands was wonderful. The Wild and ContraVerse had wonderful lyrics in their songs. The next time that they come through Augusta, we have to have the place packed. ”
    • “ Rockin' good time. The 3 bands were all very different, but all were excellent. There was the Wild, with their more traditional "rock" sound (at least to my ancient ears!) and Contraverse, with the hip-hop/rap thing going on (I couldn't understand a word they said, but they were jumpin' good!), both from Atlanta and heavy metal local group Blackout (I'm sorry, what was that you said? Say again!). Very good time. Lots of young folks that we haven't seen at a Peace Alliance meeting. ”
