Assemble, set-up and adjust a Bridgeport Milling Machine (Stage 1)

CT Hackerspace has just received a Bridgeport Milling machine that we will be putting back into service in the coming month. We expect to schedule some specific dates to work on this welcome those that are interested in machine tools to come down and help out or simply watch and learn. Please log your interest and you will be notified when a date is scheduled.

STAGE 1: We will plan on going through all of the parts that we have to organize, identify determine if we have any missing pieces. Additionally we will look clean and inspect the component pieces to ready for assembly. Time permitting, we will create an assembly plan and start the assembly process.

    Awesome! The group worked well together to scrub the grime off of the mill and assemble the parts that were on hand. We found that some components were missing, but will get them soon and proceed further towards having an operational mill. A video of the work can be seen at
