Alpacas, Apple Cider and Apple Pie

  • Faraway Farm

Join us for an afternoon that includes  learning about and experiencing alpacas  in an up close and personal way.

Faraway Farm is the picturesque home  to 16 alpacas and 3 horses.  We will  begin our afternoon with a tour of the  farm by the owners.  We will meet the  alpacas, including the new baby addition  to the alpaca family,  learn about the alplacas' care,  history and how their fiber is used to  make garments.

After visiting with the  animals we will have the opportunity to  browse through the shop where there is  homegrown yarn, handmade alpaca  garments, luxurious throws and  incredibly soft toys.

To complete our tour, we will socialize over homemade apple pie and hot apple cider in a warm cozy environment. More details to follow!

It was a beautiful day to hang out with the alpacas and horses at Faraway Farm. Leda provided us with a lot of information about the alpacas and we got to get up close and personal with them. Thank you Barry for opening up your home, so that we could sit and enjoy the apple pies and cider.

This is my kind of "event"! So disappointed that I am unable to attend, as it is my weekend to work.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
