It will be a fun and festive evening of playing hand drums and percussion instruments in the Stone Barn. Beginner's & dancing welcomed.

Come join us and learn how to attract butterflies to your front or back yard. Mike Wallace of Monroe will teach us about butterfly habitat, their host plants and life cycle.
Mike will show you how to collect the larva, how to raise Monarch caterpillars, to build a container to house the caterpillars. Participants will learn about the amazing journey that the Monarch butterflies make after they emerge from their cocoons.
This workshop is fun for children or adults of all ages, all you need is an inquisitive mind. Please RSVP!
Stone Wall & Trough Workshop
Saturday August 22,2009 9-4 $200
Participants in this unique hands-on class will work with bluestone and small native stones to learn construction techniques suitable for many home projects. You will learn stonewall building techniques and then apply them while making your own stone trough garden planter.
If you’ve ever contemplated working with stone, building a stonewall, or making a moss and native plant trough, this class is a must! (Value of trough alone is $100 - $200) Class Fee is $200
It includes all materials and a delicious lunch.
(Gift certificates available for your favorite lover of stone!) Class size is limited, registration a must. Rain or Shine. Bring a bucket and gardening or work gloves.

Morning Woodland Sweat Lodge

The Sweat Lodge Ceremony is the traditional Native American way of cleansing and healing the body, mind and spirit. Experience a more balanced relationship with ourselves, the Earth and all that surrounds us as we cleanse our bodies of toxins, our minds of negativities and help to heighten our spirits.

This journey of renewal will take you through a Morning Gathering, a Qigong Class, Sweat Lodge Ceremony and a Healthy Snack~Please arrive by 8:30 (This Sweat Lodge is a pre-requisite for Vision Quest Sept 12 & 13th)
