ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Eric Mortensen, Director of Content Development (Blip.tv)

Building on prior experience in art, technology and digital media, Eric Mortensen joined blip.tv in 2006 as the Director of Content Development, where he oversees discovery of and interaction with new media content creators. As a founder of the pioneering social bookmarking site, linkfilter.net, a prolific blogger and the co-founder of Digital Dissonance — a digital music collaboration created in 1994 and pre-dating the commercial Internet — Mortensen has spent more than fourteen years as a media innovator and expert.
After studying Music Synthesis at Berklee College of Music, Mortensen held various positions in both old and new media as musician, web designer, data analyst and technology consultant. He is married and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Dana Tower, COO (Pond5.com)
Dana Tower, COO, of Pond5.com is an accomplished stock footage and advertising executive. He led marketing and business development for footage licensing leaders Getty Images and Corbis. In advertising, he managed Fortune 100 accounts including Coke, Kodak, Sony and Mars for global ad networks Omnicom, WPP and IPG. His new media work includes Senior Analyst at Forrester Research, VP Client Services/Partnerships for Omnicom’s AGENCY.COM, and VP Partnerships for FastForward, a marketing services ASP. Dana received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School. Jamison Tilsner, Chief Operating Officer (Tubefilter.tv)
Jamison has been an Associate Producer and Production Coordinator for various film, television and new media productions and has served as an Adviser to Digital Filmmaking students at the Katherine Gibbs School in New York. Along with Joshua Cohen, he co-foundered Tilzy.TV, one of the first media outlets dedicated to providing news and reviews for original, online, episodic programming, which was acquired by Tubefilter, Inc. in 2009. Jamison has spoken on the topic of digital entertainment at Streaming Media East and West, NYU Tisch School of The Arts, OMMA Video Summit, Digital Hollywood, The Broadcast Education Association and various other conferences.
Jamison is a co-founder of the Streamy Awards, the first awards show celebrating excellence in Web television, and the International Academy of Web Television, a professional organization of online entertainment content creators, producers and talent dedicated to the growth of the online entertainment industry. He graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA and is currently pursuing an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
