We'll come together at Cuvee, a nice wine bar in West Hartford with great, affordable happy hour food for those of us more hungry than thirsty. We'll mingle, get comfortable and eventually have some brief intros so that we can all hear what each other do, or what brought us to the gathering. We'll hear about events, organizations and happenings as well as other efforts people are making. We'll also give anyone a chance to ask and answer general questions about sexuality. We'll offer what we know to help people find therapists, open-relationship resources and communities, LGBT organizations, edgy and not-as-edgy workshops, etc. One thing: we want to be clear that we will not be talking about sex in the abstract. If you want to talk about gender or trans stuff, we want to talk about how sex is impacted by that. If you want to talk about orientation, we want to talk about sex and orientation. If you want to talk about women's concerns, we want to talk about them related to sex. If you want to talk about body image, we want to talk about that and our sex lives. If you're not comfortable talking directly about sex, you will be!
