Economic hard times are coming: Let's get ready!

We may not be able to stop job losses, bankrupt city & state budgets, cutbacks in essential government services, bank failures, worldwide economic collapse, civil unrest, power grid failures, increased severe weather occurrences or other natural and man-made disasters but we can have a back-up plan!

The purpose of our group is to get people together to learn and practice basic and advanced survival skills, gardening, foraging, alternative energy, emergency preparedness skills, homesteading skills, emergency and natural medical skills, self-defense skills, emergency evacuation, shelter building and a wide range of other skills necessary for off the grid sustainable self-sufficiency.

The group will operate on a non-discriminatory basis. The group is open to anyone regardless of race, religion, gender, age, and all-inclusive (from complete beginner to experienced survivalist/homesteader).

Along with meeting and skill building events we will also have a good range family friendly tours and outings. Many of the skills will be useful to reduce your cost of living. I will be using the Meetup sponsor program to help equip actively participating members and to help pay Meetup dues.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
