What is your present level of survival knowledge and preparedness?

I'm currently water-bath canning (first time -- and all the cans sealed!) I know herbals (culinary and medicinal, but can always learn more). I have land in western Massachusetts for future homesteading, on which I currently grow a few perennial veggies, and am attempting to help re-introduce the American chestnut (see my profile pic). I have worked in a minor way with Angora goats on a farm. Although I've technically expired with the certification, I know CPR. I built my first (and only) lean-to at about age 9 -- it wasn't winterized, but it did last a couple of years, and it used only material I found out in the woods. I also learned how NOT to get lost in the woods at the same age, without panicking -- voice of experience! I have a lot of camping equipment (some of which more useful than other items). PS: survived without any hardship and very little loss of food several extended power outages in 2011, even without a generator. Have a prepared shelter in the den if need be.

Interested in foraging, fishing, shelter, winter survival. Also want to learn skills such as woodworking. Livestock management & fencing.
