Sometimes being a geek girl is a lonely experience. It's hard connect with other women when they're staring at you strangely because you're trying to explain your theory that the nature of a child's mutation stems partially from genetics as seen in Polaris and Magneto, but mostly from some sort of trauma before puberty - the time in which most mutants first exhibit abilities. Ex: Nightcrawler wanted to disappear because of his demonic appearance, and he did. You flashed 'em a little bit of your geek, and people just sidle away cautiously.

Not at this meetup. We LOVE your inner geek. We want you to pull it out of it's hiding place, doll it up and make it sing for our amusement.

This is a place where you can meet girls who share your interest/s, socialize, have adventures and not feel ostracized. Our main focus is to provide a safe social setting for geek girls of similar interests to meet and interact and hopefully create bonds of friendship that will last a long time. Our secondary focus is to have a blast!

Geek girls of all ages, shapes, ethnicities and interests are welcome!

Please don't join if you are of the male persuasion – this is not a geek on geek dating service.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
