We'll start the evening with a 1963 cult film that started it all for the gore cinema genre, Blood Feast. And this film was in fact produced in Miami! Who would have guessed that Miami would become the cradle of bad drivers and bloody films?!
Anyway, this should be fun since the one and only "Godfather of Gore" and creator of this film, Herschell Gordon Lewis, will be there in person to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Blood Feast. By the way, by today's gory and shocking standards, the movie is now more of a curiosity for cinephiles and considered "fun" by others.
So besides bringing your sense of humor, you're also most welcome to bring, or wear actually, a Halloween costume, the goriest costume will win a premiere membership at our cinematic destination.
This for the discount price of $10, details available after having RSVP'd.
AND AFTERWARDS WE'LL HAVE THE CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE THE BIGGEST HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION IN FLORIDA. WE'LL BE AT A WALKING DISTANCE FROM IT ALL AND OUR CARS WILL ALREADY BE PARKED! Parking suggestions and other details will be emailed the night before the event.
