This internationally acclaimed movie is the first feature film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia, and it is the first feature-length film made by a female Saudi director, Haifaa al-Mansour.

"It's a stunningly assured debut, a slyly subversive delight, and one of my favorite movies of the year so far." - Dana Stevens, Slate

This for the discount price of $8, details available after having RSVP'd.

Great movie! It was nice to have a small window into another culture but sad how every minute freedom (for women) was linked to immodesty.

Love this type of movies, . ITS all in the essence. The girl's desire. For that bike, symbol of freedom, kept story moving forward. Simple and deep.
    Nice pick G!

Great film, quite thought-provoking, touching... A major achievement in world cinema by a Saudi director, a female director by the way! And needless to say it was nice doing dinner after the film, we did manage to find a restaurant that could accommodate us :)

Is anyone interested in carpooling? I'm in the South end of Dade. Contact me if so, please. Ivette

I reside in South Dade as well and generally reach South Beach by way of Metro Dade's pubic transportation system: Metro Rail to Government Center station. Exit. Walk two blocks to the main bus area and then board one of two buses from there to South Beach. Easy. Efficient. Cost Effective. And no parking problems this way.
