Steady State Economy Film Screening + Forward Planning

Join us for a second screening of the Economics of Happiness, followed by our CASSE Yorkshire Forward Planning meeting. This is an open meeting, everyone is welcome, as is the subsequent CASSE Yorkshire social :) Please note the earlier start time:
5.20 – 5.30: Welcome
5.30 – 6.30: Film Screening
6.30 – 6.45: Break
6.45 – 8.00: Forward Planning
8.00 - Social
Join us on 17th July, at the School of Earth and Environment, University
of Leeds. Registering is less important this time, but if you can that
would be helpful. We would like to reiterate CASSE Yorkshire is not a
closed team, we are an open community keen to involve others in whatever
capacity, and are pleased to announce we have funding for a Enough is
Enough Film! More details in due course.
You're welcome to attend any section according to your preference. We hope to see you there!
Kind regards,
The CASSE Yorkshire team

Sorry to nab the comments, but thinking about consumer culture, this is interesting:

"Ramadan is about `self-restraint, being happy with less, breaking out of acquisitional culture, finding calm & balance - not just food' // In the context of a consumer culture where we are advertised at all the time, Ramadan seems like a very wise and intelligent thing to me, regardless of the beliefs that lead people to it."

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
