Great Lakes, Greater Stakes

Seen from space, the Great Lakes appear as sparkling jewels strung across the center of North America. The Great Lakes ecosystem is one of the great natural wonders of the world. Demands on the Great Lakes basin are substantial and escalating. Stresses include invasive species, toxic contaminants and climate change.

This talk by Drs. Gail Krantzberg and Harvey Shear will highlight opportunities to regenerate ecosystem excellence and emphasize how individuals can help make the Lakes Great.

Very informative session on a complex subject. The presenters were very knowledgeable, and were able to tailor the meeting to the audience without becoming too technical. Very impressed!

I'm sorry but I have to cancel. I'm sure it will be a fascinating presentation.
