Reading Café Theologique: "Is synthetic biology treading on religious toes?"

Dr Angeliki Kerasidou, Ethics Co-ordinator for the Malaria Genomic Epidemiology Network, University of Oxford discusses the use of synthetic biology from a theological perspective.

Café Scientifique talks start at 7:30 p.m. in Monroe's Rock Cafe (formerly known as the Déjà vu Bar & Eatery) and are followed by questions from the audience in the second half. Everyone is welcome to ask a question or make a comment; you don't need to be a scientist to enjoy the evening.

There is no advance booking, but please contact me if you want further information about this often packed event.

Cafe Scientifique is a place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, anyone can come to explore and debate the latest ideas in science and technology.
